That's Classic: "Bizzare Love Triangle"
Bizarre Love Triangle - New Order I know it's almost blasphemous to say, but I think New Order is a better band than Joy Division (of whose ashes it arose). Joy Division is just a little too tortured for my tastes. It's pretty wild to think that New Order's first CD came out way back in 1981. In that time they've written classics like "Blue Monday" "True Faith" (their first top 40 hit in the States) & the excellent "Regret" (their second, last & biggest hit in the US when it reached #28 in 1993).
Along with those three songs, "Bizarre Love Triangle" is probably one of their most recognizable songs. And it's a gem. Not only did it never chart in the US (outside the dance chart), but it also missed the UK Top 40! It's only over the years that the song has gotten the recognition it deserves. In 2004 it was #201 on Rolling Stone's "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time." It still sounds as fresh today as it did 23 years ago, in my opinion.
