Twin Sign Jim Thome
I just read that the Twins signed a one-year, $1.5 million, incentive laden contract with Jim Thome. It's quite a bargain pickup (considering he got paid $13 million last season). I think it's a nice move and only bolsters what is becoming quite a potent power-hitting lineup for the Twins. At the very least it puts a massive home run hitter (who has hit more home runs against the Twins than any other team) out of the White Sox lineup. I'm excited about baseball coming back and hopefully the Twins will make some waves in their new stadium this year :)
