Well, I guess there are some benefits to living in Columbus instead of Minneapolis. Wintertime seems to offer the most benefit... such as missing a 17" snowstorm (the biggest there since the infamous 1991 Halloween blizzard). The airport closed, bus service was suspended, and the Vikings game didn't happen when the Giants couldn't get to town and then the Metrodome roof collapsed!
Then it dropped below zero. I can definitely say, I'm not sorry I missed it! I'll be seeing the remnants of it soon though. Home for the Holidays in a week.
