Pop Pleasures

Here are a few pop tunes I can't stop playing. I love me some catchy songs and these ones are fitting the bill quite nicely lately:

Erik Hassle "If It Takes All Night"
A Swedish pop singer that unfortunately looks like Howdy Doody. But he wrote a great song here. Love the pounding beat on this one.


Natasha Bedingfield "Just A Little Too Much"
A British pop singer that has had huge hits here and overseas. Her new album seems DOA but I love this song. Totally has the same hook as The Crystals 1963 hit "Then He Kissed Me."


Robyn "Indestructible"
Robyn basically rules. And I've posted about her here many times. She's basically Sweden's Madonna. And she can't seem to write a bad song! There is an official video for this one but apparently it must be raunchy because it requires authorization to view.



Bjørn Johan Muri "Once Upon A Time"
I knew nothing about this guy. My boyfriend had the song on his computer. But apparently he's a Norwegien singer who competed on their version of American Idol back in 2007 and finished second. I'm hooked on the beat of this song and the stick-like-glue melody.
